The secretariat for Intermag 2023 has sent email notifications to student travel grant winners.
Intermag 2023 will offer travel grants to a limited number of students working in magnetism and magnetic materials who wish to attend the Conference. Additional support will be available specifically for students from underrepresented countries – see below for additional details.
The travel grants are up to $750 each and are intended to partially offset travel costs.

- The student must NOT have previously received an MMM/Joint Conference or IEEE Magnetics Society travel grant.
- Only ONE application per research group will be accepted.

How to Apply
- To apply, the student must complete and submit the online application form below.

The deadline for submitting applications and letters of endorsement is February 24, 2023.
NOTE: Travel grants are a reimbursement for actual expenses. Thus, the student must attend the Conference and submit receipts to the Student Travel Coordinator. All grant recipients must also complete either a W8 or W9 before payment is issued. Complete details will be supplied to successful applicants.
Expanded Global Participation Grants
To promote broader participation, Intermag 2023 will also offer a limited number of travel grants specifically to researchers at institutions in countries that are historically not well-represented at the conference. Applicants must attend the Conference in-person to be eligible for these grants.
Researchers whose primary current institution is NOT in the list of nations below are eligible to apply for the Expanded Global Participation Grants. You will automatically be considered for the Expanded Global Participation Grants, based on your country of residence, if you complete the grant form below by February 24, 2023.
